We leave Belfast at 10.00am and travel south to Wexford and an overnight hotel.

We take the morning ferry from nearby Rosslare to Pembroke from where it is only a half hour drive to Tenby and our hotel for the next 2 nights. After checking in, we have time to explore the narrow streets, full of shops, pubs and restaurants, the ancient walls, pretty harbour and the beach.

After an early breakfast, we leave Tenby and drive along the coast to Britain’s smallest city, St Davids. This is the birthplace of the Welsh patron saint from whom the city takes its name. We then turn northalong the edge of Cardigan Bay to Aberystwyth where we break our journey around lunch time. In the afternoon we continue north through
Dolgellau and into the Snowdonia National Park and our final hotel in Llandudno on the North Coast.

After yesterday’s epic journey along the West Wales coast we have a full day to relax.

Today will test your power of pronunciation as we travel through Llanfairpwllgwyngyll (the short spelling), Caernarfon and Portmadog (they are easy), Penrhyndeudaeth, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws-y- Coed and back via the Llanberis Pass as we circumnavigate majestic Snowdon.

There is an optional trip (at no extra cost) along the north Wales coast to Chester, just over the English border for those who like a little shopping. You may of course prefer to relax and enjoy the resort.

We leave Llandudno in late morning and make the short journey to Holyhead for the afternoon ferry to Dublin and arrive back in Belfast around 7.30pm.
