Rudesheim on the Rhine

Rüdesheim is the perfect example of a romantic Rhine town. It is situated at the southern end of the 'golden stretch' of the river, just 40 miles south of Boppard. Famous for its vineyards, castles and 'old town' winding streets, Rüdesheim is home to a fascinating mechanical musical instruments museum and the Asbach Visitors Centre, the birthplace of German brandy.

The Rheinhotel in the centre of this popular riverside town has become a great favourite with Ulsterbus travellers since its introduction a few years ago. It is family-run, offering an unfailing warm welcome and attention to detail for every group, culminating in wine tasting in their own cellar on the last evening of the tour.

This year we are delighted to be able to add a popular October (grape harvesting time) date to the programme.
