Great Dorset Steam Fair - The National Heritage Show Tarant

The Great Dorset Steam Fair is held each year on a 600 acre
site near Blandford Forum, at the end of August/ beginning of
September. It attracts just under a quarter of a million
visitors, making it a truly major event in the English
calendar.
While steam power is the driving force, with 200 working
steam engines it is much more; classic cars, vintage tractors,
lorries, buses and military vehicles. There is room for
horse-power too with Shire Horse ndemonstrations, not
forgetting rural crafts, food and music, all the fun of the
fair!
