Two proud cities act as hosts for an unforgettable
tour of the Scottish Highlands, offering the opportunity to
visit places on one tour that would
otherwise require at least two trips whilst still
leaving time for relaxing free days in both Inverness and
Aberdeen.
We begin with a drive through the Western Highlands,
continuing as far north as you can go on the Scottish Mainland,
with a visit to Castle Mey and John O'Groats. We explore the
coast of the Buchan Peninsula in Aberdeenshire and return home
via the east coast, crossing the Forth of Tay into the Kingdom
of Fyfe and the Firth of Forth on a very different bridge,
before completing our grand tour, back to Cairnryan, just
across the sea from Belfast.
Both hotels occupy prime sites in their respective cities,
one overlooks the River Ness towards Inverness Castle and the
other the North Sea.
Both are within easy walking distance of the city centres
and both offer warm Highland welcomes, friendly service and
excellent facilities.
