Rudesheim is the perfect example of a romantic town.
It is situated at the southern end of the 'golden stretch' of
the river Rhine, just 40 miles south of Boppard. Famous for its
vineyards, castles and 'old town' winding streets, Rudesheim is
home to the fascinating Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum
and the Asbach Visitors Centre, the birthplace of German
brandy.
The Reinhotel, located in the centre of this popular
riverside town has become a great favourite with Ulsterbus
travellers since its introduction a few years ago. It is family
run, offering a warm welcome and attention to detail for every
group, culminating in wine tasting in the hotel cellar on the
last evening of the tour. The October tour allows a visit to
this area during grape harvesting time.
