Wexford, Waterford and Kilkenny are three of Ireland's oldest settlements - Kilkenny was once the capital and remains a charming little city, Waterford is the oldest and Wexford, in the far south-east corner, our base for the tour, can look back to its Viking origins, Norman invasion, the impact of Cromwell and bloody events during the Irish Revolution.
